Wildlife in Switzerland

Living in Anniviers, Valais, Switzerland, since 2008, this page contains mainly images taken in the aforementioned geographical region, where there is at least one "wildlife protection zone". This section of the site also contains images taken mainly elsewhere in the Alpine arc and/or nearby. Thus, images were taken at the Ibex Trail (Val d'Hérens), Creux-du-Van, Pouta Fontana Nature Reserve, Grangettes Reserve, and the Swiss National Park in Graubünden. All reproduced images constitute and contain only a sample of a part of the flora, fauna, and animal world of the places visited personally. This page remains open to contributions in the form of suggestions, texts, videos, and documents on the animal world, flora, and nature in general, and also elsewhere than in Switzerland.
